Guest Stars:  Art Garfunkel as the Mighty Oak

Best Quote:  "He can’t hear and read at the same time... he’s only human!" -Lenny, about Squiggy
Most Touching Moment/Quote:  Laverne reciting the poem she wrote about Shirley at the Buttered Cocoon:  "My best friend is Shirley Feeney, the best in all the land. Whenever we're in trouble, we face it hand in hand. We laugh when we are happy, we cry when we are sad. We talk when we are lonely, just to know her makes me glad. If I had one wish in life, I know what it would be. I'd have Shirl as my best friend, for all eternity." -Laverne
Funniest Moment:  Laverne trying to see if the light in the fridge really goes out when the door shuts.
Squiggy Hello:  "It’s a leaf, and every jerk and his mother knows that it is." -Laverne "Hello!" -Squiggy
Featured Songs:  None. Though we do get to hear Laverne's 8th grade poem, "The Saga of Louie the Grocery Store Man."
Strangest Moment:  The Shirley Feeney scarf dance - strangely awesome.
Best Insult:  "You can not see beyond the obvious, Laverne!! If you could, you could see the forest for the trees, and if you could see the forest for the trees, you would see that on those trees grows THE UNIVERSE!!!” -Shirley
Saddest Moment:  Laverne admitting to Shirley that she got jealous of all the time she was spending with her new friends, and that she thought Shirley didn’t like her any more.

Fun Tidbit: The Shirley Feeney scarf dance was boo-ed in 8th grade, and again at the junior prom.

Episode in One Ridiculous Picture:

Star Rating:  4/5
Verdict:  There's something for everyone here - a memorable comedy scene in the Shirley Feeney scarf dance, a test of the girls' friendship, and an adorably intimate Laverne and Lenny scene.
