If it was asparagus with an A, I’d eat that first, but it’s not asparagus with an A, it’s zucchini with a Z." -Carmine
Best Insult: "I happen to like my droopy ears. It gives me a little character. Just like your nose." -Carmine to Laverne
Saddest Moment: Shirley discussing how it is tough to forgive, since it's Carmine and her best friend - but how she thinks she’ll be able to find it in her heart to do so.

Star Rating: 4/5
Verdict: A concept that sounds strange in theory (Carmine & Laverne?) actually works much better in reality than you’d first think. There’s a surprising amount of chemistry between the two, which comes out both in the form of some passionate embraces AND some equally heated arguments. The story arc wraps up nicely by the end of the episode, so Shirley and Carmine fans can take comfort.... but this episode does open the door to some interesting possibilities, and is a fun 22 minutes, regardless of your preferred coupling.
