Sometimes I'm right and I can be wrong. My own beliefs are in my song. The butcher, the banker, the drummer and then, makes no difference what group I'm in. I am everyday people! Yeah. Yeah. There is a blue one who can't accept the green one for living with a fat one trying to be a skinny one.

And different strokes for different folks. And so on and so on and scooby dooby doo-bee. Oh sha sha… We got to live together! I am no better and neither are you. We are the same whatever we do. You love me you hate me you know me and then. You can't figure out the bag l'm in. I am everyday people! Yeah. Yeah. There is a long hair that doesn't like the short hair for being such a rich one that will not help the poor one. And different strokes for different folks. And so on and so on and scooby dooby doo-bee. Oh sha sha. We got to live together! There is a yellow one that won't accept the black one. That won't accept the red one that won't accept the white one. And different strokes for different folks… and so on and so on.

Episode Name/Number:  Take Two, They're Small  (Episode 5.11)

Original Air Date:  November 22, 1979

Summary:  Lenny & Squiggy help fix the girls up with two “dream dates” via their computer dating service (FYI, this is no match.com...). The girls are in for a surprise though when it turns out their dates are little people.

Guest Stars:  Bruce Kimmel as the organist
Best Quote: “Boy, you just ride that rubber raft right down to filth town, don’t you?”          -Shirley
Most Touching Moment/Quote:  Laverne and Shirley sticking up for their dates at the roller rink
Funniest Moment:  Laverne's date continually frisking her...
Squiggy Hello:  “It gets you all puffy and bloated!" -Shirley  "Hello!" -Squiggy
Featured Songs:  "Chances Are" by Johnny Mathis, as the girls wind down their evening with Lance & Brent
Strangest Moment:  Lenny and Squiggy inventing a computer dating service... in the 60’s?!?  Plus, Lenny’s amazing impersonation of “The Lonely Man” AND “The Lonely Woman” certainly qualifies as bizarre, to say the least.
Best Insult:  “Bottlecappers...” -Claudette  “That’s right, that’s us!” -Laverne  “I always wondered why they didnt just get monkeys to do that job.” -Claudette
Saddest Moment:  When the girls nearly bail on their dates: "Listen girls, you suddenly get a stomachache or a headache. We understand. It wouldn’t be the first time" -Brent
Fun Tidbit: According to Lenny & Squiggy, there are exactly 826 "
Shirleys" in Milwaukee

Episode in One Ridiculous Picture:

Star Rating:  3/5
Verdict:  The whole "little people" storyline feels a bit cheap at times, but Lenny and Squiggy's computer dating service is pure genius.
